RIC-14; RSC-6. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Constantia seated left on curule chair, raising hand to head and resting feet upon footstool. Presenting a deep and attractive cabinet tone, this incredible example also features a stunning portrait of Claudius from the beginning of his reign. Exceptional detail is still evident in the sculpted nature of his neck and cheeks, while his hair has been rendered nearly to each hair. A great piece for any set of the "12 Caesars."
