RIC-959 (Vespasian); Calico-819. Obverse: CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS, laureate head right; Reverse: Captive kneeling right, extending hand and holding signum; COS V in exergue. Fairly evenly worn and handled, this charming caesar issue of Domitian was issued just a few years before he became emperor in his own right, with his elder brother Titus being the first to succeed their father, Vespasian, in A.D. 79.
