Obverse: D N VALENS PERF AVG, diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right; Reverse: GLORIA ROMANORVM, Roma and Constantinopolis, with foot upon prow and holding scepter, seated facing on throne, holding between them a shield inscribed VOT / X / MVL / XX in four lines; Christogram above; ANOBΘ. Incredibly bold and with a razor sharp strike, this brilliantly lustrous specimen does not display any evidence of being handled and stands as a an excellent representation of the type.
