CANADA. Newfoundland. 10 Cents, 1872-H. Heaton Mint. Victoria. PCGS MS-67 Gold Shield.
KM-3. An immaculate coin in all respects, this Superb Gem showcases surfaces that are fully struck and unbelievably clean. Light toning, presenting mostly in soft pastel yellow, lilac and blue shades, bestows unrivaled charm upon the obverse, while the reverse is a pale champagne with a few instances of slightly deeper copper color. Quite honestly, a coin that deserves consideration for the unthinkable MS-68 grade, as the few other pristine pieces that have been graded higher (three examples graded MS-67+ exist in the PCGS census), all which are assuredly from the Heaton Mint hoard, don't appear quite the equal of this piece is terms of pure surface preservation. As such, an important opportunity for the condition-focused collector, as this coin is undeniably a marvel to behold!

Ex: Heaton Mint Hoard.

Estimate: $6000.00- $8000.00
