DENMARK. Krone (4 Mark), 1659. Frederik III. PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield.
KM-221; Sieg-35; H-100B; Dav-3576. A well struck and nicely preserved example of the type with lovely old cabinet tone. The piece exhibits nice bold design features with even wear on the high points, only a couple of insignificant areas of weakness on the reverse are noticed mentioned for accuracy. The surfaces exhibit lovely mottled gray patina with blue and golden hues offering good eye appeal. Clearly an example which sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed.
