Dav-2156; KM-921. Easily the finest of this type, honoring the "White Swan" mine, that we have ever offered, this exceedingly popular and RARE issue was struck between 1744 and 1748. Very well struck and with an alluring iridescent toning, this piece also exhibits some appealing underlying luster radiating throughout. Of note, it shares the obverse with Dav-2097 from Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, which we are also offering in this sale.
