GREAT BRITAIN. Angel, ND (1505-09). Henry VII. ICG EF-40.
Fr-151; S-2187; North-1698. Downward pheon mint marks. New type, angel has both feet on dragon. A decently struck survivor of the type with nearly complete legends, though the designs are a touch weak in the lower right quadrant. A small unobtrusive "X" pin scratch in the upper right quadrant of the reverse mentioned for accuracy, but hardly distracting. Despite its shortcomings, a presentable example of this popular type displaying light orange tone in the legends giving this piece a nice look.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
