KM-44. The single second finest certified of the date on the NGC population report with only one finer (NGC MS 67). A highly attractive and richly tone survivor of the seldom encountered issue in proof condition. The frosty devices and hard flashy surfaces have been slightly subdued by the rich patination, but fields still retain much flash. A real treat for the specialist of this series as examples of this type do not show up often, especially so in this state of preservation.
