MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1867-Ho PR. Hermosillo Mint. NGC MS-63+.
Fr-73; KM-383.8. Micro "O" above "H" of the mintmark. The single finest certified of the date on the NGC population, none listed on the PCGS census. A boldly struck and lustrous example from a very difficult to locate mint in this state of preservation and as such should be considered VERY RARE. The surfaces display light attractive mottled envelope patina with minor signs of handling consistent for the grade. The originality of this piece coupled with the high state of preservation adds tremendously to its desirability worthy of premium bid.
