CANADA. Royal Bank of Canada. 50 Dollars, 1927. CH #630-14-16. PCGS Currency Gem New 65 PPQ.
A scarcely encountered Royal Bank of Canada note, and especially so in this exquisite Gem grade. Bright purple hues permeate from the central Coat of Arms. Portrait vignette seen at left of E. L. Pease, with obligation at right. Wilson-Holt signature combination. Deep purple ink stands out on the reverse of the note, with "The Royal Bank of Canada" emblazoned at the top, and the Royal Arms seen at center flanked by "50" obligations at both ends. Excellent registration and detail, with wide margins and attractive centering. This example is tied with the finest certified by PMG.

Estimate: $5000.00- $10000.00
