GREAT BRITAIN. British Armed Forces. 1 Pound, ND (1948). P-M22. About Uncirculated to Uncirculated.
Approximately 1,000 Pieces in lot. Serial numbers 913001 through 914000. Some in original band/packing with an unbroken TDLR max stamp. These would have been issued to British troops stationed throughout German, Austria, Japan & Singapore. The top of the banding lists "British Armed Forces Special Vouchers 1000", and the examined, inserted, 1st counted and 2nd counted signatures still remain legible. The top and bottom corners of the pack show heavy indentations from the years of the bands exerting pressure on this large amount of notes. Toning is also noticed.
