A fully issued example of this downright scarce 5 Pesos Philippines note. This note bears a bold signature at bottom right, with three serial numbers, one at top right, left of center at bottom and one horizontal in the left margin. The 5 Pesos note is generally scarcer to locate than the 1 Peso note issued by the Philippines Republic. This note was issued by the Philippines government starting in 1899, after the Philippines declared their Independence, and were out of circulation in 1902 after the Philippines surrendered to the United States. These notes are usually offered only as remainders, and we are pleased to offer a fully issued example of this scarce note. PCGS Currency comments "Minor Stains; Small Edge Tears."
