Phenomenal example and the rarest of all Mafeking Siege issues. The first one with the Garter Arms watermark. Black ink signature of Baden-Powell, the father of the Boy Scouts organization. Hand signed low serial number #164. For accuracy we have to mention PMG comments "Tears," which is seen around the top and bottom margin, but this does not take away at all from its rarity, and its great Boer War history. By far the best of only three currently listed on the population report. In same grade international auction records show prices way over $3,000. The first we ever have offered.
