Thompson-49; HGC-3.2, 1750b. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike and resting elbow upon shield; spear behind; monogram to inner left; crescent in exergue. Despite the punch marks and edge cuts, this specimen offers a fairly full flan and serves as a great budget example of the type.
