RIC-136 (Nerva). Commemorative 'Restitution' issue. Obverse: Laureate bust right, with the features of Nerva; Reverse: Legend around large S C. Dark brown surfaces with some lighter yellow highlights, this issue under Nerva points back to that of Augustus, deified here, in an attempt to align Nerva with the favorable memory of Rome's first emperor. Some scattered roughness is noted on each side.
