SABINA (WIFE OF HADRIAN). AE Sestertius (26.08 gms), Rome Mint, struck under Hadrian, ca. A.D. 128-134. NGC Ch VF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 2/5. Smoothing.
RIC-1032 (Hadrian). Obverse: Diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: Pudicitia seated left on throne, placing one hand to lips and resting the other on her lap. Despite the noted smoothing--which is fairly extensive in the reverse field--this deep red-brown example offers a great portrait of the empress.
