AELIUS AS CAESAR, A.D. 136-138. AE Sestertius, Rome Mint, A.D. 137. NGC Ch F.
RIC-1055 (Hadrian). Obverse: Bare head right; Reverse: Spes advancing left, holding flower and lifting hem of skirt. Quite nice for the type, presenting light brown surfaces with some spots of green encrustation and a solid portrait of the brief, hand-picked successor of Hadrian, who ultimately predeceased the emperor.
Estimate: $300.00- $450.00
