MAXIMUS AS CAESAR, A.D. 235-238. AR Denarius (3.16 gms), Rome Mint, A.D. 236-237. CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE.
RIC-3; RSC-10. Obverse: Bareheaded and draped bust right; Reverse: Maximus standing left, holding baton and spear; two signa to right. Only a slight degree of handling is noted on the high points, while the strike is well centered on each side and some charming brilliance remains.
