Obverse: Diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: Charlotte standing facing, holding scepter and being crowned by Fame flying left; orb and lighted and garlanded altar to right. Issued for the wife of George III, this silver coronation issue offers gunmetal gray surfaces and some pleasing iridescence, though a fair number of scattered field marks and subtle rim bruises are noted for completeness.
