Crowned and veiled Jubilee bust facing left, close JEB with hooked J on truncation, first legend, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRIT: REGINA F: D:. / St George on horseback slaying the dragon, date and B.P. in exergue.
Rare variety of the first legend where JEB was put individually on each obverse die, resulting in slight differences between them. Marsh has noted this as R5. Rarely seen on the market, especially in this grade. In secure plastic holder, graded by NGC AU58, certification number 4723354-015.
