GETA, A.D. 209-212. AE Quadrans (3.69 gms), Laodecea ad Mare Mint (?), ca. A.D. 200-203 (?).
RIC-unlisted. Draped and cuirassed bust of Geta right; Reverse: Helmeted and cloaked Mars advancing right holding spear and trophy, dividing "S C". A seemingly unpublished issue which bears the closest resemblance to an issue of Aurei and Denarii from Laodecea except for the inclusion of SC in the reverse field. An interesting and enigmatic piece. Dark patina,VERY FINE.
