In this cataloguer's opinion this is one of the most attractive designs for all Latin American 8 Escudos. Absent of the normal striking deficiencies and adjustment marks normally associated with this type. Well struck, showing bold details, full sun, all of the leaves on the tree as well as the denomination which is often weak. Very high grade showing only light rub at the high points and minimal surface marks. One small un-offensive planchet flaw on the reverse. Good eye appeal and very choice for this RARE issue.NGC AU-58.
