AUGUSTUS, 27 B.C.- A.D. 14. Sestertius (27.63 gms), Rome Mint, A.D. 21-22.
RIC-(Tiberius) 49. Augustus radiate seated left feet resting on stool holding laurel branch and long scepter, before him, altar; Reverse: Legend around large "S C." Memorial issue struck during the reign of Tiberius. Struck on a large round planchet with full legends and overall good details. Moderate to heavy corrosion, namely on the reverse. Pleasing dark brown patina.NEARLY EXTREMELY FINE.
