RIC-(M. Aurelius) 1579. Laureate and draped bust of Commodus, right. Castor standing left, holding spear and placing hand on head of horse standing left behind him. Well rendered, youthful portraiture. Dark brown patina with hints of red and green. A few light areas of corrosion and light smoothing. VERY RARE reverse type.EXTREMELY FINE.
