KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos. 305-281 B.C. AR tetradrachm. 16.9 gm. 28 mm. Magnesia ad Maeandrum mint. Struck circa 297-281 B.C. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, holding Nike, left arm resting on ornamented shield, spear behind; monogram in wreath to outer left; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ. Cf. Thompson 101. Cf. Müller 301. Good Very Fine; attractive old toning with slight iridescence. Fine style, struck in high relief on a large flan.
