Rx: S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI Column of Trajan, with spirals and dots on the column indicating the spiral relief band, resting on double base and bearing statue of the emperor; lower base has door and relief depicting two Victories holding tablet; garland decorates upper base and two eagles stand on it on either side of column. As everyone knows Trajan's Column is one of the few ancient monuments that still exist today. While this coin is not rare, it is very difficult to find one in this quality and therefore highly desirable, especially one struck on such a broad flan with complete legends. Toned . MS
