Rx: PIETAS AVGVSTORVM Sacrifical implements: sprinkler behind ladle, pitcher, and lituus behind patera. The two implements on the left and the two on the right are shown not side by side, as usual, but overlapping, one behind the other, a variation that is not noted in RIC. A test sample in CoinArchives Pro contained 18 examples with overlapping implements as opposed to 67 specimens of the normal variety. Acquired from Kay Coins, 6 May 1963.Reverse softly struck. EF
