The figure on reverse, identical to that labeled GENIO SENATVS on coins of Antoninus Pius, is wrongly called the "emperor" in the standard catalogues. It was appropriate that the Genius of the Senate should reappear on the coinage of two emperors selected and elevated by the Senate.Excellent surfaces. VF
