Republic 8 Reales 1858/7 Zs-MO MS62 NGC, Zacatecas mint, KM377.13, DP-Zs39 (Very Rare). Dunigan and Parker list the overdate as "very rare", and the scarcity of this piece is further enhanced by its relatively high grade. There is a bit of softness in the strike, almost always seen with this type, and a very light planchet drag on the obverse. Handsomely toned with a blend of burnt sienna and cobalt swirls. Among the finest certified with a single example certifying a point higher at NGC.
