Commercial Bank of Scotland Limited, £1, 2 January 1892, serial number 14/Q 50/324, blue on yellow underprint, ornate frieze surrounded by thistles at top centre, bank emblem at low centre, reverse green, bank building at centre, two manuscript signatures, (PMS CO47), one instance of graffiti on reverse, otherwise a fairly strong about fine, and a very rare early date.
