Crafted Made Dagger "The Sun King Louis XIV" 2017 Unique Collectible Item
Artistically crafted blade from the dagger collection "The greatest Personalities"; Overall length: 470 mm; Blade length: 298 mm; Blade thickness: 6 mm; Blade width: 36 mm; Coating thickness: nickel 26 µm; gold 4,5 µm; Blade Rockwell hardness 56 HRC; Crafted made dagger produced by traditional methods of metalwork and decoration techniques: forging, etching, polishing, engraving, nickel plating, gold plating, blackening. Blade of 440C steel with gilded ornaments on both sides. Handle. Made of brass and gilded grip, with very refined engraved figurative ornaments of lily. The pommel, shaped as lily as well, represents the symbol of the French Absolute monarchy. The scabbard is all-metal forged, with very artistic decoration that introduces baroque culture style from the Louis XIV's époque. Two-side locket with interesting adornment. On one side is depicted a portrait of Louis XIV, representing the King as the Mighty Sun. Variation of the lily element is depicted on the opposite side of the locket. Baroque style shaped suspension ring. Another portrait of the French king Louis XIV and inscription with his name, situated in the middle of the scabbard on one side. The French monarchy coat of arms, illustrated on the opposite side. Lily ornaments engraving on the entire scabbard. Baroque style decorated tip. Collectible piece of knife making with dedication to the people, possessing the absolute power. Two pairs of demonstrative gloves in the set.
