A piece from the knife collection "Ancient Greek Pantheon"; Overall length: 250 mm; Blade length: 125 mm; Blade thickness: 4 mm; Blade width: 40 mm; Coating thickness: nickel 26 µm; gold 4,5 µm; silver 12,5 µm; Blade Rockwell hardness 56 HRC; Crafted made knife produced by traditional methods of metalwork and decoration techniques: etching, polishing, engraving, nickel plating, gold plating, silver plating, silver blackening. Blade of stainless steel 440C. Illustrated with a scene of the Ancient Greek mythology, representing Zeus – the King of the gods, ruler of Mount Olympus, god of the sky, weather, thunder, lightning, law, order and justice. Zeus is depicted as a regal, mature man with a sturdy figure and dark beard, sitting on a throne, holing his attributes of power – the royal scepter and the lightning bolt. The sacred animal of Zeus – the eagle, is depicted on the background. Additional decoration with engraved typical ancient Greek ornaments on both sides of the blade. The handle is made of birch burl, with one finger groove. Brass made and the gilded guard and pommel with decorative ball ending. Ornamental adornment. Luxury handmade wooden box.
