Bavaria. Maximilian I gold 5 Ducats 1640, Maximilian standing, with hand on orb / View of the city of Munich, KM269, Fr-196, MS64 PCGS. Amazingly, we have a second example of this large Bavaria gold issue. Full mint brilliance, with orange-gold patina and no flaws worthy of mention. A fabulous example that would not have caused undue concern even in a higher numbered holder.
