Arab-Sasanian, Yazdigerd type, circa AD 652-668, silver drachm (4.15g, 32mm). ST (Istakhr), year YE32 (=AH 43 / AD 663), A‑1A, unpublished and probably unique. Extremely Fine. Istakhr, in the north of Fars province near Persepolis, was often in revolt against the Arabs during their early years in Iran.
