(1) Arab-Sasanian, 'Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr, silver drachm (3.99g, 34mm), ST (Istakhr), year AH63, A-16, with 3 pellets adjacent to the right star-and-crescent in the reverse margin.// (2) Arab-Sasanian, Salm b. Ziyad, circa 60-64 / 680-684, silver drachm (3.94g, 32mm), MRWRWT (Marw-al-Rud, "Marw on the river"), AH63, countermark #14 in ObQ1, A-18.// (3) Arab-Sasanian, 'Abd Allah b. Khazim, circa 62-72 / 682-692, silver drachm (3.56g, 30mm), BBA (the Court Mint), AH67, A‑19. Note: BBA was the Court Mint, which accompanied the royal army during its campaigns. It has formally been misread as BHA and assigned to the mint of Balkh, which was not yet in Islamic hands in AH67. Average grade Choice Extremely Fine.
