Among the finest known of this extreme rarity. Extremely Fine. Jahangir was an avid patron of art, science and literature. His interest in astronomy and astrology (considered much the same discipline in the 1600s) is evidenced by his famous Zodiac series of gold mohurs, of which the example seen here is among the best known specimens.
