Butterworth serial number 42716, an Exceptionally Scarce note in VF with a minor inked numeral at upper right on obverse. A Waterlow & Sons Limited printing in brown on yellow and green underprint with large Triune at centre in the underprint on obverse. The reverse with a fully printed underprint across whole body of the note and an elaborate panel at centre with an illustration of Douglas bay & harbour, and the Bank's name and head office address, all in brown on lighter brown.
