Lead Seal of Noe officer.
A beautiful and rare overstruck seal (11th/12th cent.)
Obverse: Saint Nicholaos standing, facial, nimbate, in prelate's garments, his right hand raised in blessing, holding the book of Gospels in his left, columnar inscription, ΟΑΓΙΟC-ΝΙΚΟΛΑ(ΟC) (Saint Nicholaos), all within dotted border.

Reverse: Inscription in 4 lines between decorative patterns: + CΩΖΟΙC/ΩΠ(ΑΤ)ΕΡΤΟΝ/CΦΡΑΓΙCΑΝ/ΤΑΝΩΕ = Σώζοις, ὦ πάτερ, τὸν σφραγίσαντα Νῶε (You may save, oh father [Nicholaos] (me) Noe, who have sealed [the attached document]), all within dotted border.

It's to note, first the uncommon name of the owner of the seal, Noe, and second that this precious seal has been overstuck on a previous seal, whose initial inscription can be seen in the perimeter.
