Byzantine lead seal of Atrianos Malias (?), patrikios and strategos(ca 11th cent.)
Obv.: Inscription in 5 lines, + K(YΡI)ERΟ/ΗΘΕΙΤΩ/CΩΔΟΥΛΩ/ΑΤΡΙΑ/ΝΩ = Κύριε, βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἀτριανῷ (Lord, help your servant Atrianos), all within dotted border.
Rev.: Inscription in 4 lines, ΠΑΤΡΙ/ΚΙΩSCΤΡΑ/ΤΙΓΩΜΑ/ΛΙΑ (?) = πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Μαλίᾳ (?) (patrikios and strategos Malias).
It's possible that the main name of the owner of the present seal was actually Ἀδριανὸς (Adrianos) and not Atrianos.
