Belgian Congo Banque du Congo Belge 1000 Francs ND (1920) Pick 12ds Specimen PMG Very Fine 25 Net. A prime Specimen of the largest denomination from the early Belgian Congo issue, this note, with the payable at Matadi stamp, was printed by Banque Nationale de Belgique. It features classic French artistry on both the face and back. Large diagonal red "Specimen" overprints are seen on both sides. The grading company mentions edge damage, foreign substance, and previous mounting.
