Bermuda Bermuda Government 10 Shillings 12.5.1937 Pick 9 PMG Choice Very Fine 35. The ill-fated green 10 Shillings is a widely desired Commonwealth type today, as few were printed and its time in circulation was brief. Apparently, the green color schemes were too similar to other denominations, which prompted an order of red banknotes in 1938. In fact, red continued to be the color of the 10 Shillings denomination until decimalization in 1970.
