Canada Bank of Canada $5 1954 Pick 68a BC-31a "Devil's Face" PMG Superb Gem Unc 68 EPQ. A beautiful note, featuring the desirable "Devil's Face" hair engraving, and doubly impressive due to its virtually perfect technical grade. Finding pinpoint centering for this series is almost impossible, leaving notes in Gem Uncirculated or better few and far between. At the time of cataloging, there are only two examples designated Superb Gem Uncirculated in the PMG Population Report. This is the single finest. Of additional interest, this example is serial number 311 for the type.
