A lovely pair, these large sized Specimen feature the portrait of Francisco de Oliveira Chamico at left and the steamship seal at right. The 100 Escudos has printer's annotations in the top margin and has been previously mounted. A perforated "Specimen" is present on the 50 Escudos and a perforated "Cancelled" is present on the 100 Escudos.
