A scarce large sized example, this note features an image of Lady Lavery resting upon a harp on the front and is highlighted by a well centered image of the god of River Erne on the back. This last date, two signature J.J McElligott - T.K. Whitaker issue displays delightful color and deep embossing. The impressive, complex patterns utilized to create the border on this note are absolutely breathtaking.
