Lebanon Banque de Syrie et du Grand-Liban 5 Livres 1925 Pick 4 PMG Choice Fine 15 Net. An always desired emission from the notoriously scarce 1925 series, this type is missing from even the most exhaustive collections. Of interest, the 1925 is much more challenging to obtain than the subsequent date, 1935, which is listed as Pick 9 in the Standard Catalog. An interesting serial number and prefix arrangement is seen on this example. While repairs were executed to the center splits and margin creases, the overall design is still visible and enjoyable. Rarely seen in any grade and the first we have offered, this piece is worthy of strong consideration as a banknote that does not often present itself.
