Netherlands Amersfoort Camp 2 1/2; 5 Gulden 1.1.1944 NE-443a; 444a; PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ; About Uncirculated 50. A scarce pair of higher denomination notes is offered in this lot. The Amersfoort Concentration Camp operated as a prison camp in two phases between 1941 to 1943, and again from 1943 to 1945. The camp was liberated by Canadian forces in 1945. Minor thinning is seen on the back of the 5 Gulden, but does little to distract from the overall appearance.
