Oman Sultanate of Muscat and Oman 100 Baiza; 1/4; 1/2; 1; 5; 10 Rials Saidi ND (1970) Pick 1a; 2a; 3a; 4a; 5a; 6a Six Examples PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ(6). A lovely full denomination set from the first series. The Sultanate of Muscat and Oman existed from the mid-1800s until 1970. In May of 1970, the new Rials Saidi replaced the Indian Gulf Rupees, but only two months later, the son of the Sultan staged a successful coup, which led to the renaming of the country.
