Qatar & Dubai Currency Board 100 Riyals ND (ca. 1960) Pick 6s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. As the highest denomination of the first post-colonial series, any surviving 100 Riyals is a prize today. This series circulated from 1966 until 1973, at which time the United Arab Emirates and Qatar issued their own country-specific banknotes. At the time of cataloging, only five Specimen of this type are graded in the PMG Population Report, with only one example grading finer. Red bilingual overprints, a hole punched cancellation, and solid zero serial numbers are noted. This denomination is rarely seen in any format, and is eminently desirable as such.
