Straits Settlements Government of the Straits Settlements 10 Dollars 1.1.1930 Pick 11s KNB19 Specimen PMG Choice Very Fine 35. Both interesting and rare, this Specimen is unusual compared to others created by British printers in the 20th century. Oddly, this was a fully issued note, featuring the final date of the series, which briefly circulated before being transformed into a Specimen. More clearly seen from the back, there are four vertical "CANCELLED" perforations, and two purple stamps which are easily visible. Typically, Specimen were issued at the onset of a note's production run, and not the end. A highly specialized offering, this is the fourth variety of Specimen created for this denomination. At the time of cataloging, PMG has only graded two Specimen, across all varieties, with this example achieving the higher score.
