Despite the large sized and delicate paper, this example was spared from extensive circulation. Only a small tear is mentioned for accuracy. The purchasing power of this denomination prevented all but a scant few examples from being saved for posterity to be enjoyed today. Vivid colors are seen on both sides of this famed rarity.
